Terms of Delivery

Online Store Terms of Delivery 
Effective May 1, 2026

General Information About the Online Store

The products in the online store are sold by Pro Kalastus Oy (Business ID 2165561-2). Pro Kalastus is an import and wholesale company specializing in fishing, which sells its products to retailers in Finland and elsewhere in the EU, as well as to private consumers. Product prices are displayed excluding VAT (VAT 0%) for retailers and including VAT (VAT 25.5%) for consumers. If the order is for Finland, the price including VAT (VAT 25.5%) will be displayed at the end of the order. We reserve the right to change prices and shipping costs.

Ordering

Products are generally ordered online at www.prokalastus.fi. Providing an email address is mandatory during the customer registration process. After the retailer places an order, the products ordered and their total price will be sent to the customer via email (order confirmation). If, at this stage, the customer notices that they have ordered the wrong product, for example, they are asked to contact Pro Kalastus Oy immediately (mobile: +358458443550).

An individual consumer customer pays the total amount of the order displayed in the shopping cart using the selected payment method. The customer agrees to the delivery terms in effect for each order.
Using the “Order History” feature on our website, the customer can view their previous orders.

Payment Methods

For business customers: invoice or prepayment (invoice or online payment). 
Products and their shipping costs are paid via an invoice sent to the business customer by email or as an online invoice after the order is processed.

We process the order during warehouse business hours once the order is placed (normally within 24 hours of the order).

Prepayment: We ship the products once the payment appears in our account.

For consumer customers, online payment methods are available, including online payments from Finnish banks as well as card and mobile payments (Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Eurocard, and MobilePay).

Online payment service provider

Paytrail Oyj (2122839-7) acts as the payment intermediary and payment service provider in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. Paytrail Oyj appears as the payee on your bank statement or credit card bill and forwards the payment to the merchant. Paytrail Oyj holds a payment institution license. In the event of a complaint, please contact the product supplier first.

Delivery Time

We always strive for the fastest possible delivery. We ship products every weekday (excluding public holidays). For products in stock, delivery normally takes 1–3 business days from the date of payment, depending on bank processing times. If, in exceptional cases, an ordered product is out of stock, the customer will be notified as soon as possible.

We always contact customers promptly by email or phone if we notice that the delivery time is significantly longer than usual.

Pro Kalastus Oy is not liable if the delivery of an order is prevented, hindered, or delayed due to circumstances beyond Pro Kalastus Oy’s control, such as war, natural disasters, export or import bans, decisions by authorities, disruptions to public transportation, or other similar events that hinder or prevent the operation of the Pro Kalastus Oy online store.

Delivery Method and Shipping Costs

Shipping costs include postage, handling, and packaging fees. The shipping cost, calculated according to the current rate schedule, will be added to the order total and shown on the shipping confirmation, packing slip, and invoice.

Exchange and Return Policy

The customer has a 14-day right to exchange or return items. The right to return applies only to unused and resalable products in their original packaging. The customer is responsible for the costs of return shipping in accordance with the current freight rate schedule. Complaints will be handled separately.

We do not accept returns more than 30 days after delivery. Once the return has been approved, the money will be refunded directly to the customer’s account after the return has been received and processed.

Issues with shipping and defective products:
If a product is lost during shipping, damaged, or the wrong product is delivered to the customer, the customer must immediately report the error to info@prokalastus.fi / mobile: +358458443550.

A report of an incorrect delivery or a defective product must be made within 14 days of receiving the product. If the package has been damaged in the mail, a complaint regarding the product must be filed immediately with the party responsible for the shipment.

If a dispute regarding the sales contract cannot be resolved through negotiations between the parties, the consumer may refer the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board (www.kuluttajariita.fi) for resolution. Before referring the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board, the consumer must contact the consumer advisory service at the local register office (www.kkv.fi/kuluttajaneuvonta).

Consumer disputes regarding online shopping can be resolved online through the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform http://ec.europa.eu/odr. To initiate proceedings on the ODR platform, the consumer can use the online store’s customer service email address: info@prokalastus.fi. Finnish consumers involved in a dispute with a Finnish online store should first contact the Consumer Advisory Service (www.kkv.fi/kuluttajaneuvonta) to resolve the matter.

We reserve the right to change our terms of delivery. Before placing an order, the customer must familiarize themselves with the terms of delivery in effect at that time. Pro Kalastus Oy treats all customer information as strictly confidential and undertakes not to disclose customer information to third parties.
