Micro jigging

Micro jigging is at its best, when perch and zander is in shallow water or feeding smelt near surface. The equipment is significantly lighter and more sensitive than in normal cast jigging. We use 1-2 inch softbaits with heads that weigh only 1-7 grams. The gear must be ultra light to be able to cast these light jigs. Micro jigging brings a new angle to perch fishing. In this style even a smaller catch can put up a decent fight!
